Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RateSeal ("Service"), operated by RateSeal ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What RateSeal Does
RateSeal monitors publicly visible tour and activity listing pages on OTA platforms (such as Viator and GetYourGuide) and your own website. It compares prices and availability across channels and alerts you when discrepancies are detected. RateSeal only accesses public pages — the same pages any customer can view without logging in.
2. Eligibility
You must be a tour or activity operator, or an authorized representative of one, to use RateSeal. By registering, you confirm that the listing URLs you provide belong to tours you own or manage.
3. Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must provide accurate information when registering
- You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without authorization
- You must notify us immediately at contact us here if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
4. Subscription Plans and Limits

Limits are enforced automatically. Exceeding your plan's tour or channel limit will result in an error at the time of addition.
5. Payment and Billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
- You may cancel your subscription at any time — access continues until the end of the current billing period
- We do not offer refunds for partial months
- Prices may change with 30 days' advance notice by email
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use RateSeal to monitor listings that you do not own or have authorization to monitor
- Attempt to circumvent plan limits through technical means
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service
7. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. OTA platforms may change their websites in ways that temporarily affect our ability to read prices accurately. When this occurs, affected checks will show a low confidence score and we will work to restore accurate reading as quickly as possible.
8. Limitation of Liability
RateSeal is a monitoring and alerting tool. We are not responsible for any business decisions made based on the data we provide, including pricing decisions, revenue loss, or missed bookings. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at contact us here. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
